Ami Sallee Corley

Ami Sallee Corley has been acting on Tampa's professional stages since 1999 and directing since 1998.  Favorite roles include Ouisa (Six Degree of Separation with Gorilla), Lady Capulet (Romeo and Juliet for American Stage), and with Jobsite, Susan (Woman in Mind), Frankie (Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune), Tamora (Titus Andronicus) and Louisa (Maxwell).  She has been awarded Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay for Best Actress (2001 and 2007) and Best Director (2003).  She holds a degree in theater from Saint Leo University and has studied and performed in universities and professional companies in New Mexico, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana and NYC.  Ami teaches acting for The Gorilla Theater, The Patel Conservatory, Eleanor Dempsey Performing Arts Center and Metropolitan Ministries Academy. She is an active participant with The Artists and Writers Group and is on the board of directors for All Out Rep, where she recently produced and directed The Agreeable Husband.  Special thanks to Jobsite and Joe for making me a rockstar once more.
